Here’s a new piece I made tonight, reusing my old artworks as textures, painting over them, using photo textures and bam, a new piece from the ashes of old, unused goodies. Honestly, I have so many artworks I haven’t shared just because I didn’t like them at the time, but I figured, let’s utilize them and create something new, with the skills and all the knowledge I gained throughout the years.
So here’s a tip, if you have some unused pieces laying around, use them as refs, or you can even use any artwork you wish (of course from your own portfolio lol), something I’ve learned from Ryan Bittner (@ryanhappytree).
This speeds up the process, but make sure you rework everything completely to avoid repetition.
